Summarizer questions
How does the summarizer work?
It is an extractive summarizer. The tool scores every sentence by the key terms in your text, picks the highest-scoring sentences, and prints them in their original order. It selects your own wording - it does not invent new sentences.
What length should I pick?
Short keeps roughly the top eighth of the sentences for a quick gist, medium keeps about a third, and long keeps about half when you need more detail. You can switch lengths and summarize the same text again for free.
Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No. Summarizing runs entirely in your browser - the text you paste is never sent to a server or saved anywhere.
